WOW! I have to say I am very proud of where I come from! Eckville and all of Central Alberta has been good to me over the last 15 years and I’m honored to have our community to be chosen to be a part of the CTV’s opening for the Olympics. A big thank you to everyone who came out to be a part of the production and an even bigger thank you to everyone who believes in me and is apart of my dream of competing for a Gold medal in Whistler in February. Check out this video article of the filming. Stay tuned for our 2nd World Cup race this coming Friday in Lake Placid, NY! |

| I saw the ad quite by accident and was soooo excited. You looked awesome, Mellisa. I will really have to start watching more TV now!!! Hope all is sliding right along. Looking forward to another report soon. |

| You won't believe how many people in little old Oak Lake have asked us if the girl in the skeleton "I Believe" advertisement is our Mellisa Hollingswoth. Of course our chests puff up and we exclaim that it sure is!!!! What a great idea and we know it will accomplish the goal of helping Canadians to really get to know our athletes. Keep up the great work and your wonderful attitude.
